Attlee Memorial Lecture 2010

On Wednesday 23rd June 2010 Frank Field MP led the Annual Attlee Memorial Lecture at the stunning headquarters of the Attlee Foundation. Mr Field spoke on ‘The Future of Social Policy- Are There Lessons From the Past?‘ covering highly topical issues relating to the emergency Budget, announced on the preceding day, as well as on his work and outlook on the review of poverty and life chances. Relating back to Clement Attlee’s Government, he talked about lessons from the past and Clement Attlee’s values, governance and importance of character.
