The AYCC is situated in the Spitalfields area of East London. It provides open access and inclusive facilities for children, young people and the local community in an area of significant deprivation.

Facilities include a sports hall, football and other sports pitches, an adventure playground, a catering-standard kitchen, an IT area and two meeting rooms.

We have an outreach programme to help ensure we provide facilities and services that local people want.

We provide an extensive programme of activities for children and young people funded by a range of donors including the London Borough of Tower Hamlets and London Youth.

TERM-TIME PROGRAMME FOR CHILDREN

We run regular activities for children and young people. These range from football coaching to healthy eating to arts and crafts. On Tuesdays we offer girls-only activities.

HOLIDAY PROGRAMMES FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE

We run programmes of sports, adventure play and learning open to all children and young people aged 5-19 during the school holidays. We have particular expertise in helping children with disabilities or special needs fulfil their potential.

We also have a programme for adults in the local community, ranging from Aerobics, to coffee morning consultations on matters of local importance.
